::Creating A Niche Site-Step 2::
Niche site keyword research is essential for SEO (search engine optimization) of your niche site for the natural search engine results pages (SERPs). It is one of the techniques taught in the NZPCS Million Dollar Blueprint.
After doing some research to see if our niche idea looks promising, we want to do some deeper research of our broad keyword terms to find suitable keyword phrases to use as sub-topics and article titles.
To begin with, select a main keyword term for your niche from your previous searches in Google.com and SEOBook. com
Open a blank windows notepad file or a XL spreadsheet and save it using the main keyword term you have selected for your niche.
SEOBook.com
Use Keyword Suggestion Tool to find more related keywords for main keyword term. Export results into the notepad document or if you like to use spreadsheets, a “Niche Research” Spreadsheet
Good Keywords 2 Software
Good Keywords 2 is a free Desktop Keyword Suggestion tool. Download and install Good Keywords2 and use the program to find more related keywords for your keyword terms. Export results into your keyword “Research” file (XL or Notepad) A video review for this software can be found on the Google Video “Good Keywords Video Review”
Select 5 Sub-topics for your Niche
Now it is time to choose 5 keyword phases as niche sub-topics from these lists. Again, save them as either a notepad file with the sub-topic keyword phrase as the filename or creata new tab in your Research Spreadsheet and label the tab with subtopic keyword phrase.
Trellian
Trellian is another free Search Term Suggestion Tool that we will use to generate 100 keywords for our sub-topic keyword phrases.
Enter each of the 5 sub-topic keyword phrases you have chosen above into the tool. Copy & paste the results into the notepad file or spreadsheet tab for each corresponding sub-topic phrase.
You will be using keywords from these list to write articles for each of the sub-topics.
Keeping Organised Tips
If you have a ’system’ to do your niche research and development it will make it easier and quicker to get things done. Being disorganised is a terrible time waster. The time you waste hunting for files and information is costing you money. You may be working from home but that doesn’t make your time any less valuable.
When starting to create niche sites it pays to create a folder in your documents folder labeled “My Niche Sites”. Whenever you start a niche site project, create another folder within this folder and call it the name of your niche. Store all the research, documents and web-site pages for the niche within this folder.
I will further discuss niche site organization in future article posts.
