HELLO and WELCOME to my “Work-From-Home” Blog.

My name is Dee-Dee MacLeod-Wilson.

I am a Kiwi, married, with 3.5 children; the 0.5 being our big black Labrador Cross “Riker”, two daughters and a husband. (That’s a joke for all you wives out there.)

I live in beautiful New Zealand with my husband Chris and two wonderful daughters, Emma and Candice.

 

 

“Work From Home 4 Life” is not only my domain name but is also my Life goal, Life purpose and Motivation.

My favourite food for thought which I have as a header on my emails is:

Tell me - I hear - I forget

Show me - I see - I remember

Teach me - I do - I understand

I think this is a truism no matter what you apply it to; whether it is raising children, training staff or, mentoring others.

I see it every day in my working life when introducing new quality controls…

Just telling the staff “This is how we are going to do it” invariably results in them forgetting the new process.

But show them… teach them why it is necessary, how it benefits them, encourage them daily to do it and, with understanding there is a commitment to follow through.

I currently work full time at a job I love and am very good at…

but I just hate…

• The stress,
• The office politics,
• The staff conflicts,
• The limited income potential,
• Poor management decisions and especially,
• Being away from my family.

I work in my spare time providing information for others just like me who want to work from home. It is my goal to work full time at this.

What lead me to do this?

While looking for a better job I realized that what I really wanted was a better life!

While looking for a way to create a better life, I discovered there was a sad lack of sound, practical advice and training that didn’t cost a fortune and made other people money instead of enriching my life and the lives of those I care about.

Kiwis are renowned for their pioneering spirit; making anything out of No.8 wire and bailing twine. So in the true kiwi spirit I decided if I can’t find what I’m looking for then I had better create it!

This is what brings me to here now; creating a site to teach others how to work from home 4 life; Showing ways of earning money online so you can have more time with your family; be financially independent; and creating lifelong friends world wide.

It is my intention is to provide:

• A holistic approach to working from home
• Education through information and demonstration
• Business skills through training
• Empowerment through identifying your life purpose
• Growth through personal development
• Enrichment through business development
• A practical guide to changing your life

I am no guru by any means. I am a student just like you and my knowledge has come from many sources and personal experience.

I only wish to teach what I have learned and in turn, learn more from others. My fervant hope is that you find this site helpful and I wish you every success in your endeavour to Work From Home 4 Life!.
